Terms & Conditions

These terms are based on years of working with clients. They keep every project clear and predictable, and save time and budget on both sides. Please read them before booking a shoot.

1. Booking and payment

  • Deposit. Your shoot date is reserved once a deposit is paid — usually 30% of the project cost. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Final payment. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot or before the final video is delivered without watermarks.

2. Pre-production

Project brief

To quote accurately and bring the right equipment, I need to know the following before the shoot:

  • frame orientation: vertical, horizontal, or both;
  • length of the final video;
  • editing style (please send a reference);
  • resolution: 4K or Full HD;
  • frame rate (FPS);
  • the platform where the video will be published.

If you need both vertical and horizontal versions, let's agree on it in advance — it affects which equipment I bring to the set.

Materials before the shoot

Please send teleprompter texts and scripts 1–2 days before the shoot. If they arrive on set, loading and reviewing them will take part of your paid shooting time.

Not included in the price

Unless agreed separately, my services do not include:

  • writing scripts or texts;
  • storyboarding;
  • preparing props;
  • arranging location access or filming permits.

Any of these can be added as an extra service.

3. Shoot day

  • Start time. Shooting time starts at the agreed hour. If you arrive late, the shoot still ends at the scheduled time.
  • Setup. Setting up and adjusting lights, sound and camera is part of the shooting time.
  • End time. The shoot ends once the equipment is packed and I have left the location.
  • Extension. If my schedule allows, the shoot can be extended — by a minimum of 1 hour.

Areas of responsibility

On set, I am responsible for technical quality: lighting, sound, camera settings and composition. You see the image on the monitor during the shoot and can share your feedback right away.

The speaker's appearance and delivery, as well as the work of a makeup artist, stylist or hairdresser, are outside my responsibility. Some of these issues can be corrected in post-production for an additional fee.

4. Editing and revisions

Materials for editing

Please send everything that affects the final look of the video before editing starts — ideally before the shoot — in one package:

  • logos and brand elements;
  • music;
  • color grading and style references;
  • notes on structure, scene order and inserts.

Video series

For a series in one style, we first approve one video: its edit, graphics and final look. I then produce the rest in the same style.

Revisions

  • Revisions are accepted as one consolidated list. The first round is included; each additional round is charged separately.
  • Mistakes on my side are corrected free of charge: typos, color grading issues, rough cuts.
  • Changes not agreed in advance are charged separately — for example, adding a logo or new elements, replacing music, or fixing the speaker's slips.

Timeline

If I need your materials or brief to start editing after the shoot, please send them within 3 days. After that, the project joins my general queue and is completed according to my current workload.

The work is considered complete once the final video is delivered to you.

5. Delivery

I deliver final files via Google Drive, Yandex Disk or a gallery on my website. The link stays active for at least 7 days — please download the files to your own storage within that time. Longer storage is not guaranteed.

6. Raw footage

Raw footage is all the material filmed before editing. I shoot in a professional format for maximum quality and editing flexibility: 4K, XAVC S, S-Log3 / S-Gamut, 25–60 fps, 10-bit 4:2:2. Working with this footage requires specialised software and color grading skills.

By default, I deliver edited videos only. Raw footage can be provided as an extra service if agreed before the shoot.

Thank you for choosing to work with me. I look forward to your project!
